Famed documentary film maker and liberal activist Michael Moore has a message for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump:
“We are all Muslim.
Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between. We are all children of God (or nature or whatever you believe in), part of the human family, and nothing you say or do can change that fact one iota.”

In response to Trump’s ongoing rhetoric aimed at disparaging Muslims and immigrants- including those fleeing for their lives- Moore took to protesting outside of Trump Tower in New York City.
After police officers showed up, Moore went home and wrote a letter to Trump, which he has shared on his Facebook page:
The post, which has over 300 thousand likes, 140 thousand shares, and 16 thousand comments just 13 hours after Moore shared it, has caused quite the stir.
Some in the comments section are calling him things like an “imbecile,” while others are thanking him for his advocacy.
