On Thursday the Maine State Aquarium in West Boothbay Harbor captured a rare blue lobster shedding her shell, and now they’re documenting her behavior and changing color on their Facebook page.
They’ve named the female lobster Lila, and she’s become a bit of a celebrity in the past two days, with the video of her molting now at over a hundred thousand views:

Since posting the video, they’ve added updates on Lila’s progress and encouraged people to follow along on her progress:
They even included a note saying that Lila hasn’t eaten her old exoskeleton… yet:
