Cape Cod mailman attacked by wild turkeys “every day”

Seen by some as a result of Massachusetts’ strict hunting regulations, the town of Falmouth, on Cape Cod, is being overrun by turkeys.

Now considered a welcome mainstay by most locals, the turkeys are known for their antics, which include holding up traffic, getting into disputes with each other on the sidewalk, and even posing for pictures.

One local man isn’t feeling the love though.

A postal carrier, who remains nameless after several calls to town offices, says he gets attacked by the wild birds “every day” when he delivers to the Shore Street part of his route.

The video, shot and posted by capecodwave.com, shows the postal carrier fending off the birds fearlessly as he drops his deliveries and continues on his route.

How’s that for dedication?
